Bernd Luz (1966, Germany)
One of the most important contemporary pop artists in Europe. Bernd Luz’s work can be seen around the world in national museums. Just like pop icons Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg or Jasper Johns, Luz also has a prominent career in graphic design and advertising that includes over 500 original creations. His art is showcased at a permanent exhibition at the world’s largest automobile museum (France). Author of several art books, he is already present on German, English and Russian Wikipedia. A contemporary visual artist and communication designer, Bernd’s work bridges the gap between independent and commission art work, the abstract and objective.
Since 2013, Bernd Luz has intensified his dedication to Abstract Pop, an artistic genre which he himself named, a style which combines abstract images and pop art, gaining an international reputation as a result.
